International law firm Eversheds has appointed a swathe of specialist partners to join the firm across the globe. Last week the firm reported first half year financial results that highlighted its international strategy had delivered a growth of 33% on the same period last year.

In South Africa, the firm has hired three new partners to join its Johannesburg office. Sibusiso Masondo joins the firm as a partner in the resources and finance group from Khumalo Masondo and is also joined by new partner Mondli Sibisi previously of South African law firm Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr. Kumesheran Moodley joins the firm as a partner in the litigation department from Fairbridges Attorneys in Cape Town.

In Amsterdam the firm has appointed corporate partner Tom van Wijngaarden from Stibbe. Tom specialises in corporate law and financial reporting. In Switzerland, Attorney-at-law Andreas Kolb joins Eversheds from Niederer Kraft & Frey to practice in tax.

The firm also recently confirmed expert patent attorneys Dr Herbert Kunz and Dr Michael Schneider would be joining the firm in Germany from Hammonds.
