Eversheds Copenhagen appoints competition expert
The Copenhagen office of international law firm Eversheds has appointed competition lawyer, Associate Anders Lykke Pedersen, as its new head of Competition, Compliance and Regulation.
Anders specialises in anti-trust and competition law having worked on a wide range of complex competition issues before the Danish Competition Authorities, including licensing and distribution, restrictive practices and cartel investigations. Throughout his career, which includes Danish law firm Kromann Reumert, Anders has also handled a number of filings and investigations of complex merger cases to the Danish and international competition authorities.
His expertise and knowledge of competition law has meant that the Danish Fashion and Textile Organisation has named him as a recommended advisor in antitrust and competition law related matters.
In his new role, Anders will head up the Competition, Compliance and Regulation practice in Copenhagen, as well as working with the wider regulatory team. He will also contribute to the firm’s international fraud team.
Nikolaj Juhl Hansen, Managing Partner of Eversheds’ Copenhagen office, said:
“Anders has great experience of both Danish and international competition law and so was the natural choice for the head of Competition, Compliance and Regulation. Our teams has some unique tools available and Anders will lead the Danish practice to provide the kind of high-calibre service that our clients can enjoy from working with a modern, international law firm.”
Anders Lykke Pedersen said:
“Competition law is changing, especially now as the business community becomes more joined up across the globe. Clients are looking for trusted legal advisers who can provide quality counsel to guide them through the international competition and wider regulatory landscape. I am looking forward to the challenges that this new role will offer.”
