Eversheds Germany expands in to Hamburg
International law firm Eversheds has announced that it will expand in to Hamburg in October 2011, building on its full service offering in Germany.
The new North German office, home to the largest port in the country, will open in response to a growing demand for high-calibre legal services from clients in the region and internationally. Partners Dr. Carola Rathke and Dr. Sebastian Zeeck, LL.M. from the firms office in Munich will spend the next four months setting up the office on the ground for opening in Autumn 2011.
Dr. Matthias Heisse, head of Eversheds Germany, said:
"The Munich office has gone from strength to strength over the years and as a result we've seen demand for our award-winning services increase. The new office in Hamburg will enable us to not only provide seamless corporate legal solutions across Germany but will also give us and our colleagues around the world, the geographic spread in Germany to provide local delivery of global legal solutions."
The new office in Hamburg will increase Eversheds' global offering to 48 offices around the world and comes after the firm has announced further expansion and consolidation in the Middle East and Spanish markets.
