Eversheds HK hires employment law head

The Hong Kong office of international law firm Eversheds has appointed former Minter Ellison Consultant Winnie Ng as Head of Employment.

With more than 10 years’ experience, Winnie advises statutory bodies, financial institutions and multinational companies on a range of issues relating to both contentious and non-contentious employment law. She is also one of a few lawyers who specialises in employment law for both Hong Kong and People’s Republic of China.

In her new role, Winnie will lead the office’s employment team as it advises international and domestic clients on all areas of employment law, including hiring and termination, employee benefits, anti-discrimination laws and immigration.

Winnie said:

“I am excited to be joining Eversheds Asia offices as they continue to experience exponential growth. Eversheds employment practice group has a reputation for excellent client services and advising on complex employment issues.”

Nick Seddon, Managing Partner, Asia, at Eversheds said:

“Winnie’s expertise and her rare specialism in both Hong Kong and PRC employment law will be a valuable asset to our ever growing team. I am confident that with her background, she will add strategic value to our clients in the region and internationally.”
