Eversheds boosts Paris banking practice with Freshfields hire
 
 


International law firm Eversheds has appointed former Freshfields senior banking lawyer Sophie Perus as a partner in its Paris team.


Sophie’s main areas of practice are banking law, asset finance and structured finance. She has acted for numerous banks, financial institutions and borrowers on structured and specialist finance transactions in domestic and international markets. Sophie has also worked on a number of tax lease financings.

In her new role, Sophie will develop the banking practice of the Paris office in liaison with the UK Banking & Financial services team.

Commenting on her appointment, Sophie Perus said:
