Eversheds helps Waterlogic make a splash on AIM

International law firm, Eversheds, has advised Waterlogic Plc (“Waterlogic”) on its initial public offering of ordinary shares to institutional investors and admission to AIM.

Waterlogic is a leading manufacturer and global distributor of mains attached superior quality point-of-use (“POU”) drinking water purification and dispensing systems designed for environments such as offices, factories, hospitals, hotels, schools, restaurants and other workplaces. These incorporate some or all of the following technologies: carbon multi-filtration systems, UV technologies (either in the cold water tank or at the faucet/tap through the application of the Group’s innovative Firewall UV system), reverse osmosis and BioCote® anti-microbial protection technology. The company intends to use the proceeds to fund its strategy for growth, make acquisitions and to develop and exploit further its Firewall UV technology.

The Eversheds team was led by corporate partner, Stephen Nash, with assistance from associate, Mark Roe.

Stephen said:

“As a recognised leader in the POU water dispenser industry and with the environmental and other benefits of POU currently in vogue, we anticipate that investors will take great interest in Waterlogic’s flotation on AIM. The placing of shares should provide the company with the capital necessary to drive forward its plans for strategic growth. We are delighted to have been able to help Waterlogic embark on this exciting next stage of its development.”

Jeremy Ben-David, Group Chief Executive Officer of Waterlogic, said:

“Our IPO signifies a major milestone in the life of Waterlogic and the start of the next major phase of our development. The Eversheds team have been there to assist us every step of the way and provided valuable, commercial and pragmatic advice throughout.”
