Eversheds makes Pret A Manger ready to go in Paris
International law firm Eversheds has advised leading sandwich chain Pret A Manger on the opening of its first two stores in Paris.
The firm advised on the negotiation of commercial leases for two Paris based stores, one situated in the area of La Défense and the other near the Champs-Elysées. Both store openings are scheduled for January 2012.
There are 265 Pret shops worldwide, based in the UK, the US and Hong Kong, however this will be the chain’s first opening in France. Most of the stores are currently in the UK and the company turns over around £380 million a year.
The Eversheds team was led by partner Christophe Sciot-Siegrist assisted by lawyers Justine Chauvel and Audrey Calvas.
